# Shortcode redirection not working

* Installed Easy Sign Up Plugin version Version 3.2 with WordPress 3.9.1
* All works well except the redirection URL is always the one specified in the
plugin dashboard, NOT the one added in the shortcode.
* The shortcode is all on ONE line.
[easy_sign_up title=”SIGN UP FOR WEIGHT LOSS
UPDATES” fnln=”1″ phone=”0″ esu_label=”WEIGHT LOSS” esu_r_url=”greaterbostonhypnosis.
com/positive-change/”]
* I have used the http:// and without as in above code, in the URL.
BOTH take
me to the home page, as set in the plugin dashboard.

* Hi charlieusa,
I believe that when you copied and pasted the `esu_r_url=` into
your post/page editor some of the formatting must have come with it.
* Have a look at the shortcode in the editor using text mode.
* Visual mode is the “What You See Is What You Get” view which is normally the
default for most of us.
* You can change this by clicking on the Text tab at the top right of the editor
window.
* Once you locate and remove the formatting everything should work for you.

* I don’t see in the code where I need to change (or remove) some formating.
* Below is the copy from the TEXT tab of the code.
Could you point out the unneccessary
formating.

* In the above code I would like the visitor to be redirected to the web page greaterbostonhypnosis.
com/positive-change/
and NOT the home page (as set in the easy signup dashboard.
* I could just change the dashboard setting… but then I could only use this plugin
once on the site. I was expecting to take the visitor to a unique download pages,
dependent on which easy signup they completed. (since I dont see the capability
of sending unique confirmation emails dependent on the topic they where interested
in).

* I now understand what you were telling me.. the code when entered with the visual
page gets translated to the mess as posted in my previous post.
* I have Pasted the shortcode with TEXT editing (NOT the pasting in the visual
editor) and the shortcode WORKs flawlessly !!!!
