# Shortcode renaming

 * Hey,
 * Awesome plugin. We love using it.
    Had an issue with renaming shortcodes:
 * – **when changing the shortcode name, the shortcode name and shortcode caller
   in the shortcode editor updates, but the name in both the shortcode list and 
   shortcode selector in a post/page editor does not update **
 * This makes it difficult to find shortcodes with updated names, since they keep
   the old one.
 * If you can fix it, or tell us how to fix it, that would be great!
    Thanks!
 * PS. By shortcode caller, I mean the text between brackets []. A really useful
   feature for the future would be for the shortcode name and the shortcode caller
   to be independently editable, just like a post and its path are.

 * You can change the shortcode title under Shortcode settings box –> Display name
 * That is the one used as display name/title.
