Shortcode rendering vs working behind the scenes

    I am trying to add some country specific content to my widget but the short codes are actually displaying as plain text vs functioning as per their intended application.

    So this renders like this for all visitors:

    [CBC country=”us” show=”y”]
    ATTN USA Visitors! Visit The US Version Of This Blog
    [/CBC]

    Vs this for USA visitors:

    ATTN USA Visitors! Visit The US Version Of This Blog
