# Shortcode table doesn’t work in Instant Article

 * Hello,
 * The shortcode of the plugin doesn’t work in instant article post, it show [table
   id=”1″].
 * I see that add_shortcode function is called only in front and not in admin and
   Instant article save a transient in admin to generate the content of the post
   in Instant Article.
 * Can i use the shortcode for Instant Article ?

 * Thanks for the reply and it works thank you, before i modify the plugin directly
   i don’t have the idea to add an action to load in my theme if plugin is activated.

 * Hi,
 * you should not modify the plugin directly, just put this into your theme’s “functions.
   php” file or a small new custom plugin.
