 * Hi everyone,
 * I would like to have a shortcode or widget to display some data for each article
   on the frontend, with the data being public, meaning visible to visitors as well.
   How could this be implemented?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fshortcode-widget-frontend%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Thanks for getting in touch [@baritono](https://wordpress.org/support/users/baritono/).
   While we don’t have any plans to add a post visit counter to the plugin at present,
   there are plenty of third party plugins that can be used to display a visitor
   count, although these are not typically displaying data from Google Analytics.
   See below:

 * If there is a feature you would like to see added to Site Kit, that could make
   use of a shortcode, such as a front end display of some data, as the plugin is
   open source, you can open a GitHub issue [on the plugins GitHub repository](https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues).
 * Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Thank you.

 * I see a new GitHub issue was raised for such a feature [@baritono](https://wordpress.org/support/users/baritono/).
   If this was you, great, thank you! The team do review such feature requests periodically
   so hopefully there will be an update provided from there. With that open I’ll
   go ahead and close this support topic.
