I have the same issue, I want the calendar in an extra template wich rules a child page.
Me to.
I know that i can ad the templates in a tribe-events directory in my child theme but I need it to be in a page of the theme because of the themes one page website setup.
A short code would solve everything but because of missing that feature my question is, is there a workaround for adding a calendar to a page? Like including the template in a special wordpress template wich I can select in a page?

That is not yet a feature of our plugin. It is one we have begun rolling out, but it’s not ready yet and could be a little while longer.
