 * Hi Can you please clarify whether the shortcodes still work? For instance, on
   the welcome page upon subscribing I want to add the link to the edit profile
   page and used to be able to use a shortcode like: {profile_url} but this seems
   to have no effect lately?
 * If not can you please clarify how we can add a custom button with a link to the
   profile page – specifically on the front end once someone signs-up; they are
   shown a success message and yes I know they get an email with a link to their
   profile page but we wanted to add it to the bottom of the welcome page once they
   sign-up as we have various extra fields that are hidden on the basic sign-up
   form that we’d like to encourage users to complete.
 * Old shortcodes that work on an older build are as follows:
 * {reactivate_url}
   {profile_url}{profile_form}{unsubscription_confirm_url}
 * Thanks

 * Hello,
 * profile link shortcode should work correctly, did you add that to the welcome
   page by selecting “Customize” on Subscription > Settings > Welcome ? May I have
   your website url?

 * Hi
 * I have got them to work, essentially they need to be used in the editor within
   newsletter – they fail if we use them in an elementor block (ie a button) so
   to make them work, I had to create a custom button in your editor and then assign
   the shortcode.
 * Be better if one day they would work in elementor shortcode widgets…
 * Thanks for replying. 🙂

 * Hello [@simpleserve](https://wordpress.org/support/users/simpleserve/),
 * as you said, our shortcodes will work only inside newsletters and Newsletter-
   generated service pages. You can’t use them outside of those places.
