# Shorten permalink

 * Hello,
 * I am using WP-to-Twitter along with Autoblog from WPMUDEV which is a RSS feed
   aggregator. Autoblog actually change the post’s permalink for the feed’s link.
 * My issue is that WP-to-Twitter wont redirect to permalink url upon shortening,
   it redirects to the post direct url instead. For the record, my shortener is 
   Yourls. (But I tested it with Bit.ly too).
 * What can you do in order to change this behavior?

 * Where does Autoblog actually store the URL they send to? If it’s in a standard
   custom field, you could enter that custom field into the WP to Twitter settings
   to be used instead.
 * It’s possible, however, that Autoblog saves this information after publishing
   the post, in which case WP to Twitter won’t be aware of it, because it will have
   already published the Tweet when the custom field is added.
