# Show Comments Below Post

 * I am having trouble displaying the field below my blog posts for visitors to 
   leave comments.
 * I have a static home page. The blog page is [here](http://www.carlgitchel.com/?page_id=120)
 * I have enabled comments every place I can find the option to do so: the Discussion
   settings under the Settings menu, the Screen Options in the upper right of the
   Blog page, each Post and the Posts page in general.
 * What I DO have is a small icon to the right of the blog post title. It seems 
   to be a counter for how many comments have been made. If I click that I can leave
   a comment, then the invitation to comment further will appear below where I wanted
   it in the first place.
 * I am not afraid to play with the Editor or add/subtract HTML code, but I am not“
   expert” at it either.
 * If anyone has some suggestions I sure would love to hear them.

 * That’s how your post templates are designed. You need to ask your theme vendor
   about customizing your comment links as we do not support commercial themes here.
