 * someone help me find this hack. i’ve seen it used many places.. it has to be 
   there but i can’t seem to find it. how does it format php code correctly like

 * actually i want something like this

   hrm but is there a version that validates xhtml? i do only have php 4 but still
   i want it to use span…..
