# Show Random Posts

 * Hi,
 * I want to show random posts on homepage, instead of the default sorting done 
   by the date. How do I do that?
 * I use W3cache too, if that matters in any way.

 * Hi nitin7. If you have a child theme you could try adding the pre_get_posts()
   function noted in this post to your child theme functions.php file:
