    Hello,
I have the store configured with Currency CLP Chilean Pesos, Thousands Separator “.” and Decimal Separator “,” and everything works fine, but the problem is that in the feed sent to Google Merchant the price is wrong. The price on the site is shown as “$30,350” and in the feed 28 CLP
    How can this be corrected?

    best regards

  • Hi @ipoblete

It looks like the Google Merchant Center is reading the thousands and decimal separator a bit differently. Could you try using “,” as the thousands separator and “.” as the decimal separator like this instead: https://snipboard.io/SdMRVF.jpg

Let’s check if this would change things.

Then, on your Google Merchant Center account, make sure that the currency settings are correct. Here’s a guide I found on the web that might be useful: https://www.adwordsrobot.com/en/help/set-default-currency-in-google-merchant

Let me know how it goes.

    hello,
but that will change how prices are displayed in woocommerce store. In CL / Chile and I understand that in the rest of Latin America it is the same, decimals are with “,”. Isn’t there a way to set the feed I sent to that format without impacting the store?

    Best regards

    Hi there,

I understand your concern. Please note that Google does not support more than 2 digits after the decimal point. Google will automatically round off the value to the nearest value, as explained here: screenshot link.

In this case, I suggest contacting Google Merchant Help Support to check if there is an option to address this issue. Alternatively, you can use a comma as a thousand separator instead of a dot.

    Thank you

    Hi,

just to clarify, please note that the problem is not the decimals as decimals are not used in this country, it is the price when it is in thousands. As an example, a price that in the site is shown as $27.990 in website in product feed is charged as $28 (27,99)

    Thank you,

    Hello ipoblete,

    Thank you for the clarification.

Could you share a screenshot of the “Currency options” like this: https://snipboard.io/SdMRVF.jpg?

Normally, Google for WooCommerce should be able to detect your currency settings and feed the prices with correct values to Google Merchant Center.

To help you further, please share your site’s System Status Report with me.
You can paste it into https://pastebin.com and share the link here.

Looking forward to your response. 🙂
