SI Contact Form 1.7.3 – Modification Request

Hi,

I really like Safe and Secure Form but I like to be able to control the layout of form independently.

Be default, the form fields are:

Name:
E-Mail Address:
Subject:
Message:

I have no problem changing the labels (i.e. from ‘Name’ to ‘Enter Your Name’). However, what I like to be able to do is add another field between Name: and E-Mail Address:. I am aware of the Advance Options that I can create new fields but the field I want to add is placed after the E-Maill Address whereas I want it to be before. See example of how I would like it to show:

First Name:
Last Name:
E-Email Address:
etc…etc…etc.

I don’t mind changing the source code but I do need to be directed as to what codes I need to change/add.

As a suggestion for the next version, you might give the admin an option to set the order of the form fields or just remove the default Name:, E-Email Address:, Subject: and Message: fields and allow the admin to set them in the order he/she desires.

Also, custom checkbox, dropdown (select/option), radio buttons, etc would be nice as well.

Otherwise, I like the form.
