# Side Bar in Posts – Post Format

 * Hello,
 * I wanted to see if there was a way to add a sidebar inside my posts so I could
   put widgets in there. Also, in looking at the cubic theme I saw that there were
   different post formats, ways to make a post with multiple pages, videos, etc.,
   but I can’t figure out how to do it on my site. The post format button on the
   back end doesn’t seem to be changing the posts.

 * Adding a widgetized sidebar to Cubic would be a major project, but it could be
   done with a child theme and some PHP/HTML/CSS knowledge.
 * Making a child theme means your changes won’t be overwritten when you update 
   the theme. If you’re new to child themes, you can explore these guides:

 * Adding post pagination can be done with the
 * `<!––nextpage––>`
 * tag. Add that in your post wherever you want it to split into another page.
 * Can you provide a link to other examples of what you’d like to accomplish so 
   I can have a look and see how that’s being done?

   com. You can find it here. Each post is a demonstration of the different post
   formats.

 * Are you referring to the Post Format options in the post edit screen?
 * [⌊Add New Post Cubic 1 0 4 by Automattic WordPress⌉⌊Add New Post Cubic 1 0 4 
   by Automattic WordPress⌉[
 * If you’re not seeing them, click the Screen Options tab at the top right and 
   make sure the Formats box is checked.
