# sidebar most recent posts

 * I know this is a really amateur question — but does anyone have a recommendation
   for the plug-in that would display the 10 most recent posts on the sidebar? I’m
   currently running Word press 1.5 — thank you guys in advance for your time

 * Kafkaesqui: i tried the get posts but it doesn’t show up when its the main blog
   page. it does show up in the archives though. the weird thing is that the place
   where i put the code is not even within an if.elsif.endif category/archive loop.
   it was between the pages and category section of the sidebar (using a design 
   based on kubrik). so i used TonySt’s answer which worked on both the home and
   category/archive pages.

 * I installed it in 1.52, and when I upgraded to 2, it continued to work just fine.
