Same problem here since I’ve updated Polylang in 2.4 today.

Really sorry to hear that you’re having issues with Custom Sidebars, I was wondering if you can run a plugin conflict test to see if there is any change besides the polylang pluign?
Remember to create a backup before running the plugin conflict test.
@egrefin could you please help us to create a support ticket so we can better track your support too? And also, is it possible to downgrade to previous version?

I think there is a conflict between the last version of Polylang (2.4) and Custom Sidebars. Indeed, if I deactivate Polylang, Custom Sidebars works again.
I don’t know how to downgrade Polylang.
