• So i’m having issues with the signup button. Sometimes it works other times it does not. The fields in member signup are filled out completely. Then when the signup form is clicked it clears all fields and goes to all blanks in signup fields. If “signup” button is clicked a second time with all cleared fields after first click then and only then will the thank you page and confirmation email get sent. This does not always happen with all signups but at this point I have had more errors with this signup bug than not. Can you help please?

Are you using a caching plugin on your site? Could be caused by a page cache, you may want to disable page caching on the signup form page.

I disabled the w3 cache plugin from webage. Still doing the same thing. When signup is done the fields go blank. Then I have to click on submit once again with blank fields page to get it to register properly. Help please. Thank you.

As of now all signups are needing a second click on submit button in order to signup properly.

OK, can you share a link to the form so I can try it myself?

I just now tried it myself and this time when I clicked on submit the link fields did not go blank. They stayed populated. Then I clicked on it a 2nd time and they went blank. Then I clicked on it a 3rd time. Finally it completed submit process.

I looks like there is some kind of javascript navigation happening. The plugin doesn’t do this. Does your theme have “transitions” between pages?

You should disable this on the signup page.

hmm maybe a plugin I installed? Like a column spliter? Or a google maps plugin?

It would need to be something that is redirecting pages. When the form is submitted, there is a message in the javascript console about redirecting, which is clearing the form before it can be submitted. The message in the console is:

    Navigated to http://biscayneroom.com/members-signup/

but there is no indication what is doing it.
