I assume you have gone through the WordPress themes repository. Another place you may want to check is weblogtoolscollection.com. They always publish the latest themes submitted to them. To go through the archives click News on the top nav bar then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click New WordPress Themes – there is enough info there to keep you busy for awhile.
Alternatively, learn xhtml and css and build your own theme – it’s not that hard. The site you mention simply uses 2 columns with 3 blocks in the footer.
