 * Hi all,
 * I would like to announce [Simple Asides](http://www.mikexstudios.com/simple-asides/)
   a plugin I wrote to implement [Matt-like](http://photomatt.net/2004/05/19/asides/)
   asides without the hassle of editing template files or using custom fields.
 * Installation is just like any plugin: Upload files into the plugins directory,
   activative plugin, configure plugin through the Options control panel.
 * It’s currently at the second revision where bugs were fixed and admin menus were
   added. So far, everything seems to be working alright, but if you encounter any
   problems, please let me know and I will work them out.
 * [Plugin download as well as instructions can be found here](http://www.mikexstudios.com/simple-asides/).

 * Can the asides category be excluded from the main post display using your plugin?

 * Does it autopost all asides to the top of the current page or do they fall chronologically
   like all other posts?

 * mosaiclife: No, the plugin cannot do that. However, I think there are other plugins
   available that can exclude a certain category from the main post page.
 * WhollyHis: The asides fall in chronological order like all other posts. If the
   asides plugin is disabled, the asides become normal posts.
