# Simple new theme

 * When I upgraded to WP2 yesterday my entire theme just borked loose. Anyhoo, maybe
   for the better cause I had to sit down and write a new theme for it.
 * Have a look at it at htt://apt47.com
 * I’ve borrowed that sweet sliding menu from [whitespace](http://webdesignbook.net/whitespace/)
   and jusp played around with it a bit.

 * I have figured out by now that the words simple and minimalist generally mean
   a white page with black or grey text with little to no images at all.I’m not 
   saying that’s bad, but it is getting old and boring right about now.
 * Must simple and minimalist mean white? Must a theme be a simple white space with
   black text in order to focus on content? I think not?
 * Anywho… your theme seems part Drunkey-Love and part Hemingway.Not bad, but not
   that great either.

 * seems out of line on IE6 – the main content doesnt start untill the left menu
   ends…. or is this intentional?

 * looking good at first glance, good work 🙂 navigation wont close though in Firefox
   and Safari on mac – and the little heart is a normal line in Firefox.. And if
   you intend to keep my code, please mention my name in footer 🙂
