# simple plugin – does it exist?

 * greetings. i’m looking for perhaps the simplest plugin ever, but i wouldn’t know
   where to begin searching for it or writing it from scratch.
 * real simple, it is just a simple data log, and can be modified to keep track 
   of whatever you want.
 * e.g. i keep a pedometer to keep track of how many miles i walk everyday. i want
   to upload that data manually into a table, and have it redisplayed on my blog,
   to become a running list in the sidebar or attached to daily blog entry. if in
   a list, it is unending, one loooooong list. how to do this?
 * so it simply says something like date, time, data
    i.e. 2006 June 21, 2.21 miles
   2006 June 20, 3.40 miles 2006 June 19, 1.80 miles 2006 June 18, 5.57 miles etc.
   back to when data started being kept track of.
 * very simple plugin, it just reposts data, but interfaces with WordPress somehow.
   maybe it is given its own category? or is a separate plugin where you type in
   this data? i don’t know what’s the best way.
 * does anybody know of anything like this?

 * I use a list_manager plugin – [http://www.navidazimi.com/projects/wp-lists/](http://www.navidazimi.com/projects/wp-lists/).
   I use it for keeping a list of my CDs, books, to-do list, etc. You will have 
   to enter your data in one field, as it doesn’t provide for multiple data fields.
