Simple share buttons plus

I currently use simple share buttons and I’m considering upgrading to plus as I would like my Facebook share stats to show accurately. I’ve noticed on your website that plus uses a different shortcode [ssbp] rather than [ssba]. I currently insert the share buttons manually in all my posts using the shortcode. Does this mean that I’ll have to go and manually change the shortcode in every post to show Facebook correctly? Also, if I upgrade will I have to set up all of my preference again or will they be copied over?
