    Hi,

I’m trying to make sense of the simple stats I receive now that I’ve hooked up my Powerpress plugin to the free Blubrry account.

If I’ve setup Powerpress correctly, anyone who comes to the page and clicks either the player or one of the provided subscribe links (Apple Podcasts, etc.) will be counted, right?

What about people who go directly to iTunes and subscribe/listen without having come through the site? Is it correct to assume once I’ve input my iTunes link in Powerpress that those stats will transfer as well?

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Any time someone clicks play on the embedded media players on your website, downloads a file thru your website, or streams/downloads thru a third-party platform like Apple Podcasts, that will be tracked in your Blubrry stats.

Great. Thanks. That’s what I was hoping for, as it makes sense, but wanted to make sure.

To be extra clear, for example I setup a SmartURL to point directly to the various platforms (http://smarturl.it/drinkswithmom). Downloads resulting from clicks there will still be reflected via Blubrry stats, correct?

It looks like the SmartURL page is linking to third-party platforms such as Apple, Google, etc. If anyone clicks thru to those and downloads/listens to episodes that way, those downloads will be tracked in your stats. No concerns there.
