# simplescript 2 1.1.6 parse/syntax error

 * when I click on category links, I am getting this message:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/etegrity/public_html/fridaynightfolk/
   wp-content/themes/simplepress-2/index.php on line 27
    with URL [http://www.fridaynightfolk.org/?cat=34](http://www.fridaynightfolk.org/?cat=34)
 * Can you tell me what I need to do to resolve the issue.
    I should be seeing a
   category with list of posts.

 * you would need to have a very close look into index.php of your theme, line 27(
   although the actual error could be in any line before that)
 * or paste the content of index.php of your theme into a [http://wordpress.pastebin.com/](http://wordpress.pastebin.com/)
   and post the link to it here.
 * someone might have a look into the file and might come up with a suggestion.
