# Simply verify an alpha/numeric code plugin

 * I’m looking for a plugin that will generate unique alpha/numeric codes and verify
   them when a user enters code into a “verify field” to check if code is legitimate.
 * There are a lot of gift certificate plugins available, but they are overkill 
   for my needs. I just need to generate simple alpha/numeric code and have a way
   for a user to verify that number is correct.
 * Any advice is appreciated.

 * I was thinking a form field that will validate a predetermined number.

 * Right, like for some kind of contest? Like where someone in a shop gets a scratchcard
   with a code on it and they have to fill it in in your form? And then the form
   checks if it’s correct?
 * I think you could do that with a quiz field maybe – like in contact form 7. And
   then if they gave the winning number redirect them to a winning page and otherwise
   not maybe?
