• Is it possible to have just one column for the Latest Blog Posts layout section on the homepage? Or do I need to go poking around in the CSS? Trying to keep it clean and simple. I also wanted it to show the full post, not sure if that’s limited by the columns.

    Many thanks!

    Hey,
If you set your hompeage to the latest post page from Settings > Reading and then enable Page Content in the homepage layout manager in Theme Options > Home Layout that should enable a single column post archive layout.
    Hope that’s helpful!

Hi, thanks, it solves the full width thing but I wanted it to be a static page with a single blog post underneath. Currently I’m using the latest blog posts to do this, but it’s in a two column format, which means it’s not showing the whole post, and obscuring links if there are any in the post. I really just want the latest blog posts section to be full width. I did track down the CSS for this earlier but had to reboot so I need to go hunting again…

In Settings > Reading you can set “Blog pages show at most” to 1. Does this solve for you?

No, it’s still in two columns, and still only showing excerpts rather than full posts.

What about when you set your homepage as the latest post page and enable page content?

    It’s no different :-/

It looks like your posts are still enabled through Latest blog posts rather than page content. What do you have enabled in your homepage layout manager in Theme Options > Home Layout?
