# single-{custom}.php help

 * I’m curious if there is an easy way to use this function, or maybe another function
   that will work similarly. I read the codex, but goodness it seems complicated
   to impliment.
 * Basically I have 4 catergories. We’ll call them:
 * En
    Ma Mg Gr
 * Each post category needs to have the corresponding header assigned to the single.
   php. Initially I thought I could make a template for posts, but that doesn’t 
   seem to be the case…
 * How can I assign a different header for each post category? Is the best way to
   do this to use the custom types feature?
 * Thanks for any assistance you can give me

 * single.php is for a single post, that post can relate to many categories, like
   a post in ‘sports, national, tennis’
 * If this is in single.php you will have to find the categories and look for a 
   header, or do you mean the category list, category.php or index.php if there 
   is no category.php.
 * When you say header do you mean a different header.php file or a different header
   image?
 * Which theme are you using, twenty ten and twenty eleven allow you to assign or
   upload a feature image as a header?
