single.php Not Applying to New Posts or Drafts

    I’m having an issue with the formatting of new posts that started today.

    It appears that the single.php file in which I have done all of the post customization is not applying to the new posts, and the missing chunk of code that has resulted is causing problems.

    Yesterday, one of our admins drafted and published a post that worked perfectly, so the issue is very recent. And yet today, the custom code I’ve put in place is not applying to the new drafts at all.

    Has anyone had this problem before? If there is another php file I should add to, which one would it be?

    Which theme are you using? Some themes use specific template files for post types, and single.php merely calls the template file for the post type used.
