# Single.php returning fatal error

 * Hello! I’m having some trouble with my single.php file. I just wanted to use 
   the one from the twentyten theme and make slight changes to fit my theme, but
   it’s not quite working for me, as can be seen on [this page](http://knivesatnoon.com/new/?p=1).
 * It was returning the error
 * > Fatal error: Call to undefined function twentyten_posted_on() in /home/knivesa1/
   > public_html/new/wp-content/themes/knives/single.php on line 26
 *  so I deleted the twentyten_ part but am still getting an error.
 * Can anyone help me out here? Do I need to start my own single.php file from scratch
   or is it just a matter of changing something to fit my theme?

 * replace single.php with a fresh copy.
 * Rename the old single.php if you want to save changes otherwise they will be 
   overwritten by the new fresh file.
