# Site Disappeared After Update TWICE

 * Site disappeared. Went to default pages saying migrate or build as if nothing
   was ever there yet on the backend all my pages and posts were still on the WordPress
   dashboard. The Neve dashboard, however, would not load. I got it back, thanks
   to backups, but it has happened twice. The 1st time was a WordPress update. The
   2nd time was just a plugin update!
 * I still cannot update anything.
 * This is all just FYI for you, I’m going to learn how to change themes even if
   it gets fixed. I’m going to go with a popular theme, probably easier if more 
   people can do use it.

 * At the moment, we are not aware of any issues between Neve and the latest version
   of WordPress. You may want to check with your hosting provider to see if there
   are any backend problems or errors in the server logs.
 * If the problem seems to be related to Neve, we will be happy to further investigate
   this.

 * I wasn’t getting anywhere with anyone, so I asked AI and it suggested that the
   updates were done out of order and that Neve updates before or after certain 
   plugins, can return it to default pages, which is what is happening to me. But
   I never saw any instructions on the order of updating & I’m afraid to try any
   more. I’m clearly new at this however, I have built 1 site a year since covid
   and maintained them without anything like this happening. BUT I have never used
   a starter site before. These were the first times I ever actually had to use 
   my back up so at least I learned something.

    2. **Neve**
    3. **Plugins recommended by Neve**
    4. **All other plugins**
