# Site Kit Plugin Error

    I am the Author of [Thegoldive.com](https://thegoldlive.com/), form
   a few days, I have been facing the Site Kit plugin error mentioned below: (Data
   error in Analytics The response is not a valid JSON response.)
 * I have uninstalled the plugin and re-install it but it didn’t work.
    Does anyone
   know the solution?

 * Thanks for getting in touch. The “_The response is not a valid JSON response_”
   error isn’t a Site Kit specific error, and can occur in other areas of your site
   also, not only the Site Kit dashboard. So we can determine more on this, please
   share the following:
    1. Your [Site Health information](https://i.imgur.com/Rtkmsba.png). You can [use this form](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1lhjns2K7c0Ny7ME4gxTcsnYtNUtcMr8BvFpPQi23Y1E/)
       to share privately if preferred.
    2. Is this occurring within the Site Kit dashboard, or when using the Site Kit 
       admin toolbar?
    3. Do you see any warnings or errors when checking your Site Health status (_[Tools > Site Health > Status](https://i.imgur.com/wSRWwon.png)_),
       which differs from your Site Health information requested above? Such errors
       may include REST endpoint references.
 * Once we have the above we can advise on this further. I can see some additional
   non Site Kit placed attributes added to your Analytics snippets, so any troubleshooting
   we perform may be to rule out third party plugin conflicts.
