# Site Kit Set up ‘code’ parameter error

 * Hi – I am trying to link my newly setup site to google sitekit for the first 
   time, but I am being hit with the following error…
 * Error: Bad Request – missing parameter: ‘code’
 * Any help would be appreciated!

   Have you tried setting up Site Kit from a Chrome browser incognito window? I 
   ask as I suspect your using the Brave browser, or a browser extension that impacts
   AMP URLs. AMP is used in Site Kit setup at present, and this error can occur 
   if it’s blocked.
