 * Let me begin by saying, I love this plugin. I can see a significant increase
   in my GT Metrix score.
 * My issue is that it seems to have caused a terrible site layout issue. Not sure
   if I have configured incorrectly?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fsite-layout-issues%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * The non-styled screen while loading you mean [@rowankeizer](https://wordpress.org/support/users/rowankeizer/)?
   That’s because you have “inline & defer” active without having provided the “
   above the fold CSS”. Untick “inline & defer” or add the critical CSS to be applied
   and the ugly “flash” should be gone.
 * hope this helps,

 * Hi Frank;
 * Thank you for your prompt reply. I actually mean when the site is fully loaded,
   there are layout issues with images and text, etc.

 * OK, can you untick “also aggregate inline CSS” and see if that helps?

 * Thank you, that seemed to do the trick. However, it has now reduced my score
   by 8%. Is there anyway around this?

 * No simple workaround no, but even if there was I would advice against it, as
   your inline CSS seems to contain “unique” CSS-selectors which if aggregated would
   cause AO cache misses, resulting in cache growing too quickly [which indicates even worse problems](https://blog.futtta.be/2016/09/15/autoptimize-cache-size-the-canary-in-the-coal-mine/)
