Sitemap error in code – XML Parsing Error: junk

    Hello,
    I have a product and page sitemap on my page running well since a couple of months. I noticed now that the page sitemap seems to have an error in its code:

    
XML Parsing Error: junk after document element
Line Number 44, Column 33:
                                <style>
--------------------------------^

    Flushing the permalinks did not help.

    Any help would be much appreciated.
