 * This is a very attractive and unique theme that comes at a time when most themes
   tend to look very much the same. It is also special in that the grid allows for
   images of different heights, something I’ve seen in very few themes.
 * I am puzzled by a few things. The demo page shows **three** columns, the thumbnail
   shows **five**, and a [**test site**](http://www.drlanelester.com/jbga/) of mine
   shows **four**! What controls the number of columns?
 * On my test site I see some distortion in the aspect ratios of some of the images
   on the home page. Is there a minimum size for featured images that is needed
   to avoid distortion? Or is there another cause for the distortion?
 * Each post on the home page has a fixed height of about 700 px. I see this is
   too much for my uses. Would you tell me where I can change this setting?

 * Hey drlester, thanks for your words!
 * About the number of columns: there is not a fixed number, since the theme is
   responsive. That means that it adapts itselft to the size of the screens. Here
   is a list of the number of columns and the widht of the screen:
    1. max 360px -> 1 Columns
    2. max 768px -> 2 Columns
    3. max 960px -> 3 Columns
    4. max 1200px -> 4 Columns
    5. min 1200px -> 5 Columns
 * About the distortion, you are right. Because of the responsiveness, there is
   a little bit of distortion in the aspect ratios of some images. That is something
   I an working on, and will be fixed in the next version of the theme.
 * About the fixed height and other question, I would be pleased to help you. Please,

 * Thank you for the thorough response, Antonio!
 * I understand now about the different numbers of columns. I’m not sure about some
   of the results. I’ve been using this site to check different device widths:

   [http://mattkersley.com/responsive/](http://mattkersley.com/responsive/) When
   I entered my [test site](http://www.drlanelester.com/jbga/), that page shows
   the 1024 px device with only two badly-distorted columns!
 * I checked the test site on my iPad (no smartphone). In portrait the two columns
   look good, but in landscape it’s still two columns stretched out of shape.
 * I look forward to the next version. I am hoping to use the theme on a artist’s
   website.
 * Lane
