    ALEX

    Thanks for Regenerate Thumbnails!

I just used your plugin (version 3.0.2) on my WordPress site (version 4.9.5) and along with the regenerated images, there were more than 200 listings in the Errors Encountered log. Every one is a Skipped Attachment that reads like this example:

“Skipped Attachment ID 11197 (SanFranciscoFog_header2): The fullsize image file cannot be found in your uploads directory at SanFranciscoFog_header2.jpg. Without it, new thumbnail images can’t be generated.”

    1. Does this mean that I should find the SanFranciscoFog_header2.jp image on my computer and upload it to my WordPress site?

    2. If not that, what does it mean and what do I do to correct the errors?

    Keep on keepin’ on!

Yes, it’s trying to find the original fullsize image that you uploaded in the past so that it can be used to make fresh thumbnails.

If you upload the file via FTP (not via WordPress which would make a new attachment), the issue should be resolved.
