• Not sure what’s going on but the scan skipped a about a third of the files and the Brute-force Protection Not Installed Checking for session compatability … Wait… wheel is steady spinning

    The skipped files are all the binary file types listed in the “Skip files …” section of the Scan Settings. These are usually images and document files that do not contain code and it would be inefficient to scan them all. You can change this setting if you really want to but it will just make the scan take longer and those file types cannot execute malicious code on a webserver without being included by a malicious line in a PHP file (that’s the kind of stuff my plugin looks for and removes).

    I am currently working on improving the session compatibility check for the Brute-force Protection now. I should have this new update ready to release very soon…

    I release a new plugin version 4.14.59 today that Improved the session compatibility check for the Brute-Force Protection. If it still fails to complete the session test it should at least return an error message after about 60 seconds.

    Can you download the new version and let me know if that fixes you problem?
