    Hi

    On existing sites permalink is /%postname%

    without slash at the end

    it seems to cause a bug on Dokan dashboard

    as all dasboard urls are like :

    site.com.com/dashboardproducts/

    site.com/dashboardorders/

    with a missing / between dashboard and products, so the urls are not working

    How to solve this bug ?

    of course we cannot change the wordpress permalink on an existing site with thousands of urls already indexed, and moreover hundreds of thousands of wordpress sites use the /%postname% permalink without a slash at the end, so Dokan should also work with this permalink structure 🙂

    As per I know, The permalink settings of Dokan also required the Post Name under the Permalink Structure. Also, the Dokan plugin required the Product Permalinks as a Custom base. You need to input /product/ into the Custom base field. I think it should resolve your current issue.

    You need to navigate to WP Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks. Please check the reference here to get a visual idea about the settings.

    Are you part of Dokan team or just a user ?

    as i said above of course we cannot change existing urls of existing site (more than 10 years)

    wordpress sites have slash or not in their permalinks, so Dokan should adapt on both scenarios :

    if / then …

    elseif not / then add a / in dashboard urls

    This is the default behavior of Dokan currently, but this can be logged as an enhancement. You can report it to the assigned team by visiting this link.

    If you need this to be taken care of urgently, then please have a look at wp-content/plugins/dokan-lite/includes/Rewrites.php this file and make the necessary changes according to your requirement.

    Thanks for letting us know that. I would like to mention that, this is not a bug in the first place. This is an enhancement as it is an addition to an existing feature. It could be tagged as a bug if the existing/default URL was not working. Secondly, as the issue has been created on the GitHub Repo of Dokan, now the Dokan Development team will take care of it and Dokan Support has got nothing to do from this point.

    Anyways, as the purpose of this topic has been served, we are marking this as resolved. Feel free to open a new one if you need any further assistance regarding any other topic of Dokan.
