    Hi Popup Builder support team,

We’re having some issues in enabling popup through the status slider.
It’s only happening with the editor role.

We’re using a workaround by checking the slider and use the bulk editor and change status to private instead of published.

@sygnoossupport thanks for confirming this issue.

    Looking forward to the fix!

    Dear @brobken ,

    Thank you too for reporting.

    Best,
    Popup Builder Team

    Hello,

Do you have an ETA for the upcoming update? I use this plugin on a website where my client has an editor account, and he has to contact me everytime he wants to enable or disable the popup which is quite troublesome.

    Thank you!

    Dear @emielb,

Thanks a lot for reaching out.

Unfortunately we still do not have update and can not mention any estimated date for the update.

Once we are done with the fix, we will get back to you with the update.

    Best,
    Popup Builder Team`

    Hello,

The last update (version 4.0.5) didn’t solve the problem. When an editor clicks on the status to enable or disable the popup, nothing occurs, except a javascript error in the console:
    POST https://www.website.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?_fs_blog_admin=true 403

Do you confirm that this bug was not resolved in the last update, or is this problem still there only on my website?

    Thank you

    Dear @emielb,

Thanks a lot for contacting us again.

We have double checked the issue with developer’s team and I am very sorry to say that there is no update concerning this issue yet.

The bug is still in investigation stage and can confirm it is not solved with the latest update.

    Sorry for inconvenience again,
    Popup Builder Team

    Dear @brobken and @emielb ,

We are sorry for the delay, but we have got some updates for you regarding the reported issue.
Upon the investigation, we have found out, that the issue is connected with the Wordfence, which blocks the Popup Builder requests.
To solve the issue, please, follow the steps below:

    1. Open the Wordfence
    2. Navigate to All Options
    3. After, open the Rules
    4. Click on the Show all Rules
    5. Turn off the mentioned section of the screenshot:

Make sure to clear the cache of the website for an accurate result.

Please, let us know if that helped.

    Best,
    Popup Builder Team

I confirm that turning off this WordFence rule solves the problem of the editors not being able to change the popup status!

    Thank you!

    Dear @emielb ,

Thanks for getting back to us and letting us know.
We are glad the solution helped.

Should you need further assistance, just let us know.

    Best,
    Popup Builder Team
