I want to display a gallery as thumbnails and allow the user click one to start a fullscreen slideshow that is user controlled, ie click for the next or previous image. I saw an example on a page describing shortcodes that also displayed a horizontal bar of thumbnails along the bottom. Last month, slideshow from basicthumbnails was working, and it doesn’t work anymore…Don’t know if it’s since the last patch. I’ve tried everything. I didn’t realize that some of the effects I saw in the documentation was for the Pro version only. I was able to get the basic lightbox working on the free version. I ended up turning it off though and using the free plugin Lightbox plus Colorbox. It doesn’t give me the same effect as described above but does give me more options. I was hoping to avoid adding another plugin.
