# Slideshow Option Missing

 * I want to add a slideshow of photos onto a page but the slideshow option that
   is referenced to on WordPress help and Wikihow help is not there – both show 
   a ‘slideshow’ option within galleries but I don’t have it – I’ve removed all 
   plugins and am using just a default layout – any help please?

 * This might be related to quite popular confusion between [.com and .org](https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/),
   as there’s no built-in galleries in WordPress CMS, but there are galleries and
   slideshows in WP.com product.
    If you’re sure that you’re using WordPress CMS,
   you can easily add slideshows via third-party plugins from [WordPress Plugin Directory](https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/tags/slideshow).
