 * I’ve noticed that the text etc that I add to slideshow page does not change when
   viewed on a mobile device. Am i missing something i would have expected it too.
   Tried one of the demos pages in mobile view and it did the same. Certainly not
   make best use of space on a mobile

 * Hi, [@locka](https://wordpress.org/support/users/locka/)
 * How do you expect for the slideshow text to change on mobile? What is the link
   to your website?

 * Hi Ina,
   Thank you for getting back to me I did manage to fix it by giving it
   it’s own css class and using the following CSS: –`@media (max-width: 768px) {.
   CS-SlideshowText {font-size: 15px !important;}}
 * I’d just expect if it’s a responsive theme then it would respond to the size
   of the screen and adjust accordingly text size to better fit. Is CSS the only
   way to fix this?
   I just seem to find lots of sections that do not work out of
   the box as expected. Was hopping the that wordpress had moved on a little since
   the last time I used. Going to be long process in redesigning our running web
   site.Unfortunately Id love to share my website but it’s currently only a local
   site and has no public access.

 * Hi, [@locka](https://wordpress.org/support/users/locka/)
 * Inspiro is a responsive theme, but it’s the block editor that has limitations
   in customizing how the blocks display on mobile. You can use a plugin that adds
   additional responsive settings for an easier and more flexible setup. Unfortunately,
   the block editor doesn’t include these settings by default yet.
 * Inspiro is integrated with Elementor and includes starter sites for it. You might
   try to build your layouts with it as it includes customizable responsive settings.

 * Thanks for the reply.
 * I’m a little surprised this isn’t something that could be handled within CSS
   or the theme’s JSON configuration (which, as I understand it, is the preferred
   approach for defining styles and behaviour these days), particularly for handling
   mobile layouts. It feels like something that should be relatively straightforward
   for the theme to control.
 * I’m aware of Elementor and have used it before, but I’m trying to avoid adding
   unnecessary plugins to the new site. The aim is to keep things lightweight and
   avoid introducing extra complexity or performance overhead. After all, it’s just
   a running club website, so it shouldn’t require a large number of plugins to
   handle fairly basic functionality.
 * Another factor is that some of the site content will be updated by people who
   aren’t familiar with WordPress. Because of that, I’m trying to keep the editing
   experience as simple and consistent as possible.
 * Much of what I’m doing with the redesign is focused on creating a more modern
   look while avoiding the need to manually style every block. I’ll be creating
   patterns to make content creation easier, but ideally most of the styling should
   already be handled automatically by the theme. The more default styling that
   can be applied globally, the simpler it will be for others to maintain the site.
 * Thanks again for your help.

 * [@locka](https://wordpress.org/support/users/locka/) do you by any chance use
   a plugin for the homepage slideshow? Can you at least provide some screenshots
   of the issue? What block do you use to create the slideshow/hero area?
 * The theme displays fine by default on our end. You can check it here:

 * Hi Apologies for not getting back I’m working through lots of different issues
   on our redesign. At the moment. My fix seems to have resolved issues.
   FYIWas
   not using any other plugins for slideshow other than one you provided with the
   them.
