# Slideshow timing

 * Thanks for a great theme. We’re just about to launch our site.
 * At the request of the client, I’m trying to figure out how to slow down the slide
   transitions. Looks like it’s set to about 4 seconds. I looked in the file jquery.
   flexslider.js and updated the following parameters, but I didn’t notice a change.
   I cleared caches, etc.
 *     ```
        slideshowSpeed: 7000,           //Integer: Set the speed of the slideshow cycling, in milliseconds
           animationSpeed: 600,            //Integer: Set the speed of animations, in milliseconds
       ```
