You should be able to input an album number, but you can’t.
Set the ‘max admin albums’ large enough i.e. larger than the number of albums you have. Then the selectionbox shows up.

I went back and changed that value above and below what it had been to no avail.
Bumping Advanced setings -> Admin -> VI -> Item 6 to 1000 gives me back the dropdown menu. However, if that number is below the number of albums, there is no way to enter the album name or number when setting up the widget.

Yes that is the bug i am fixing now
If you install the dev version as explained here:
https://wppa.nl/docs-by-subject/development-version/
it will work. This is the only mod with respect to the current release version
Installed and tested. Everything running clean and green, and I was able to enter the number of the album.

This will be my last communication with you for a while. I am starting chemo treatments on Monday, and I expect that I will be on hiatus until the end of summer. Don’t worry. I expect to back in the saddle; they’re confident of a complete cure. Just don’t expect me to do any testing for about 3 months.
