slideshowpro SC: configuration questions..

    Hi,

    In spite of many entries in Forum and other areas, I can’t get my SSP to work!

    The following configuration settings are not clear (for me that is 🙂

    1. URL of SSP

    luetkemj mentioned in earlier topic:

    “Make sure that you have added the correct URL of your SSP install on the plugin settings page”

    My slideshowpro-sc.php was installed in:

    /wp-content/plugins/slideshowpro-shortcode/

    So .. my plugin settings page is then:

    http://ww.mywebsite.com/wp-content/plugins/slideshowpro-shortcode/ ??
    >> Is this correct??

    2. The Album

    “Add your SSP album number to the shortcode parameter albumID=”

    I do get my albumID= in the page using SC, but I do not understand the “SSP album number” Is this a WordPress album ID number “ID: x” ?

    Also, luetkemj mentioned in earlier topic:

    “To get the album id you have to go into your SSP install and click on an album to edit it. Inside the Album information box you will see “album-x” where x is the album id number”

    ?? “you have to go into your SSP install and click on an album to edit it.” Should there be an album in my SSP install? If so how did it get there??

    Do I miss a point here, like do I need SSP Director as well to creat albumes form SSP SC?

    All help appreciated!

    …found a video on youtube showing all the install steps. after install & activate, there was an ‘album management’ option under the main slideshowpro settings tab – also clear cache.. I did not get that, even after I did re-install of the plugin… weird..
