    I really love the looks and feel of the Meow Lightbox, but it’s loading very slow!
    Is there a solution to make it load quicker?
    I’m using the plugin on a client’s website, but she’s already complaining…
    That could be a reason for me to look for another plugin, which I’d really feel sorry about, because I’m very satisfied by the way it looks, but not by the way it loads.
    The WordPress theme I use is Twenty Seventeen (customized with Advanced Twenty Seventeen and Customized Twenty Seventeen). The Meow layout I use: Minimal, the Meow theme: Light

    (I tried it on another website with another theme, but that didn’t make a difference)

    When I use a different Lightbox, the speed increases, but I don’t really want to use another lightbox.

    Any clue,idea or suggestion?

    This is an issue that other users have already reported to us, and we are very sorry for the troubles it may cause you !

    Hi @mooie-dingen,

    Which is the other lightbox you are using and which is faster? The Meow Lightbox using Responsive Images, the best images for the current/screen will be picked, which means that if you have a big retina screen, a large image will be automatically used. The other lightbox might be using a smaller image, but do you notice a different in quality?
