 * Hi all,
 * since the last Yoast update I am experiencing a slow admin panel, especially
   when I go into the theme editor.
 * For example, I tried making some CSS changes and when I was typing the code,
   every letter inside the editor was appearing at a delay of about 3 seconds. It
   got worse over time.
 * But my website runs fine, there are no issues.
 * I am fairly new to html/css/php and wordpress, so can somebody explain to me,
   what is causing this or how I can find it out myself?
 * Thanks.

 * I have the same issue and tried to disable Yoast WordPress SEO. Didn’t make a
   difference though.

 * This issue is not related to Yoast SEO plugin. I was able to find out, that is
   has to do with the chrome browser update from 23 July.
 * They added something crappy that causes these lags. I can’t find a solution though.

 * I opened the screen with disabled plugins, then disabled all plugins by renaming
   the folder “plugins” to “plugins.hold”, opening the Plugins page and renaming
   the folder back. Then I enabled all plugins that I didn’t have disabled before–
   one by one. Checking responsiveness after each plugin.
 * As described here:
    [http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
 * In my case, this Installer plugin was the cruel pit:
    [http://wp-compatibility.com/installer-plugin/](http://wp-compatibility.com/installer-plugin/)(
   their site seems down which is probably related)
 * I’m not sure why I got it from yet, either WooThemes or WPML.

 * For me it it is definitely this plugin. It slowed down my page significantly
   after upgrading to WordPress 4.2.4. Disabling the plugin solves the problem,
   but I need a working solution in order to keep my daily business running.
