 * Hi i am having problem when importing products to woocommerce. Its very slow.
it import only 300 products in one hour. Documentation says there are 3 main
   reasons for slow imports.
 * Server resources: I have VPS XXL which have
    `10 vCPU Cores – 60 GB RAM – 1.6
TB SSD so problem is not the low resources.
 * maybe the remote server which we get images from is the problem?
    i dont think
so because there are other websites that import same xml to get products and
images and they are very fast.
 * Lastly, the large database may cause the problem. this is possible but when i
first import the file (when our database size is very small) it was still slow.
 * Could you please help me to figure out the problem? I am a web developer and
i create the site for my clients so its very urgent.
    I can provide login details
to my site if you want to check out the settings.
 * Any help really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 * It would still be worth testing since they could potentially be throttling the
download requests coming from your server. And, if you’re using an image optimization
plugin, it could cause the import to crawl since it’s optimizing images as they’re
being imported. Does the import run fast if you remove the images from the template?
 * Also, there is an extensive gist on troubleshooting slow imports here: [https://gist.github.com/trey8611/72fec5969651d5272fcb85f99b09b8bb](https://gist.github.com/trey8611/72fec5969651d5272fcb85f99b09b8bb).
If you follow that, it should reveal the reason for the slowness.
 * Let me know what you find.
