Could you please deactivate Polylang and tell me when it’s ok?
If a deactivate Polylang, i miss all the content? o.O
Polylang doesn’t remove any data at the deactivation. The Polylang datas are removed when you delete the plugin by click on the red link “Delete.
If you grant me that i don’t miss any configuration, i deactivate Polylang 😀

You can make a back up before.
In this moment, i’m not able to enter on administration panel because of a timeout, caused by waiting time :/
To deactivate it you can rename Polylang directory through FTP.

i’ve deactivated polylang plugin, but from tool.pingdom.com i receive the same 30 waiting seconds on ibcsicilia.com/site/language/it/home-it 🙁
Obviously your problem is not due to Polylang.
Maybe a problem with your server. But to be sure make this test: deactivate all your plugins and switch on a default theme as Twenty Sixteen.
=> If your site is still slow, contact your host provider to advice.
=> If your site runs correctly switch back on your theme and activate one by one your plugins to find which is causing this.

I’ve downgraded WP to 4.2.1 (before upgrade it was all ok!), but the problem is always present -_-
