# Slow WP panel, Internal Server Errors

 * My WP panel has been extremely slow the last 3-4 days. I have tried deactivating
   some plugins trying to pinpoint the issue, but so far nothing has helped.
 * When I go back in to re-activate the plugins, I keep getting Internal Server 
   Errors. Any ideas (in layman’s terms please)?

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
 * – increasing the memory available to PHP?

 * I haven’t deactivated them all as a lot of them are related to my website theme
   and it would screw up the site. I guess I might have to put it in maintenance
   mode and try some of these ideas.
